Concert Band
​The Concert Band offers the most advanced instrumental experience through study and performance of master works for winds and percussion. Due to the soloistic nature of part assignments, there is a strong emphasis on individual preparation and performance. The Concert Band performs on seasonal concerts, and participates in state and district festivals and contests. 

​​Marching Midgets
The Marching Midgets ​are a precision marching band combining winds, percussion, and color guard. The Marching Midgets will perform at home football games, competitions, parades, and other special events. The season begins in July with weekly rehearsals, and concludes in late October. Membership requires a full commitment to the rehearsal and performance schedule.

​​Stage Bands
​The FCHS Jazz program consists of a jazz/stage band and jazz combos:. The Jazz Ensemble offers the highest quality jazz experience to the most capable players. Both the Stage Band and Jazz Combos will perform seasonal concerts and travel to festivals in Illinois. There will also be opportunities for interested students to participate in several Jazz Combos. Placement in any of the above jazz bands is determined by auditions in mid-September. Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5:30-7:30p

​​Mighty Midget Pep Band
​ The Mighty Midget Pep Band will be split into two bands; BLUE band and WHITE band. Students will be assigned to a band and be required to participate at the designated bands game. We will be responsible for cheering on the teams to victory!
